Trattoria Al Gatto Nero, Burano, Venice - Enjoy the finest risotto in the world, simple wonderful fish perfectly cooked. Max and his father Ruggero are wonderul hosts. I recommended this place to Jamie Oliver who loved it and included it in his book and TV show.
Hix Oyster & Fish House, Lyme Regis - You can't beat this view, you can watch the boats come in from your table. Mark has an excellent team who know how to cook fish. This is a favourite for wiling away an afternoon eating and drinking top nosh.
The Mayflower, Bristol - This has to be the best Chinese restaurant outside of London. Ask for the Chinese menu and eat your way through as much as you can.
