Crab Street Party :
The annual crab extravaganza that is the Dartmouth Crab Street Party is happening again on Sunday 4th August 2013. Enjoy wonderful fresh picked South Devon crab sitting outside on the South Embankment. Decorate your table with bunting, your best crockery, tablecloths and streamers, dress up and come along to what has fast become the BEST place to enjoy this wonderful seafood. There will be live music from the sea shanty singers the Nauti Boys and lots more fun. Tickets available soon.
Piedmontese night- White Truffles & Barbera – End November, date to be confirmed:
Piedmonte is surrounded by the Alps and famed all over the world for it’s cuisine -butter, rich egg pastas, braised meats, and cheeses and of course, white truffles. We will be taking a trip a few days before this evening to Asti where the finest truffles in the world are found, we will bring some back especially for this occasion. The evening will be hosted by our friend Norbert Riesnich of the Braida cantina who produce some of the finest wines in Italy together with sommelier Tim McLaughlin-Green of Sommelier's Choice. Mitch and Nathan Outlaw at the Cornwall Food & Drink Festival in Bristol:

Abergavenny Food Festival Demo with Jane Baxter:
The fish expert and the vegetable supremo combine to demonstrate how to make quick, easy and healthy meals based on recipes from Mitch's latest book Fish Easy. Mitch Tonks runs restaurants in Dartmouth and Bristol and champions sustainable British sea-food. Jane Baxter established the award-winning Riverford Field Kitchen and has written two acclaimed cookbooks.
Fruit de Mer & Muscadet Party - 22nd March, Dartmouth, 8th August, Bristol:

Bouillabaise night – a Taste of Provence – 5th July, Dartmouth and 5th October Bristol:
Now summer is here it’s time for bottles & magnums of light rosé from the Riviera. Bouilabaise is the most famous seafood dish of the coast towns. Enjoy baskets of wonderful crudités, steamed artichokes and grilled scallops. The main event will be Bouiilabaise served in the traditional style. The fish is first cooked in a rich broth which is served first and the fish then filleted at the table and served with aioli and potatoes. Bouilabaise is a wonderful experience. £60 per person – to include aperitivo, anti pasti and 3 courses (wines excluded).
